As a customer, you can purchase as many shares as you would like in any different category.  In the end, the animal that is being taken for slaughter/processing/butcher is owned by all of you, the shareholder customers, that pre-booked and purchased a share.  Some will own more and some will own less, but in the end you will get the share/shares that you pre-booked and purchased.

TRADITIONAL VARIETY SHARES 

 offers the live beef animal (steer or heifer), divided into:

1/16ths (sixteenths)

1/8ths (eighths)

1/4ths (quarters)

1/2ths (halves)

WHOLES

  With these shares there could be anywhere from one to sixteen shareholders, each ending up with an even mix of steaks, ground beef, roast & stew tips, marrow & stock bones, organs/fats.
