What makes this Ground Beef so Unique, Exceptional, and Hard to Find is the increased quality that occurs when ALL the primal cuts of the Whole Beef are ground up evenly into this ground beef product.

Most ground Beefs are the blend of all that is left that would not make a roast or steak cut. For example, with our Superb Custom Beefs "Classic Cut" we get most all Primals cut into Steaks and Roast and the remainder ends up being the ground beef, which for a Superb 2 Year Old, is still a very good product, but for a Cow it would not be as high quality and for certain should be graded as a lower grade/lower priced more fatty product.

Now imagine, for this ground beef product, everything from the Loin, Rib, and Sirloin which includes cuts of filets, ribeyes, sirloins, and top loins, to the Brisket, Round, Chuck and Shanks are included in the grind.

Plus it is a Ground Beef + Organs Blend which allows for an exceptional way to have a more power packed nutrient base in the ground beef, without a noticeable alteration of taste. For certain the best way to consume organs, without even knowing it!!

This Beef Product Offering will allow customers to PreOrder Foothill Frolic Farm Beef Products singly-by the PACKAGE/POUND and not as a PreOrder Live Animal Custom Beef.

We are using the New Appalachian Producers Cooperative just outside of Jonesborough, because our much loved and always used Family owned Processor/Butcher, Rusell Meat, is only a 100% VDACS certified custom beef facility. Nonetheless, and on another bright note, we have really appreciated and enjoyed working with APC and their crew and the state of the art, new processing equipment and their humane cattle handling practices!! This is the second time we have used them and each and every time they are working to make the butchering experience better.

The first beef we had done by them, 2025 Holiday season, was an incredible beef, but they had not yet perfected their gristle removal of whole beef grinds, as our farm and others found out. Our premium beef was still absolutely delicious and high quality, but one would end up with a piece here or there that for some was non chewable,  but now they seem to have it managed and perfected!! YAY!!

When we offer our beef in this format, processing services from APC, USDA inspected beefs are higher and our prices are higher, so in turn overall costs of beef cuts by the pound are higher.   For demonstration purposes, these price differences effectively show the comparative prices in between Foothill Frolic Farm's beef sold by the pound and our live animal custom beef shares.

These Pre-Orders from "Magic Mamma" will still have a designated on farm pick up time and you will be sure to receive the needed informative emails and texts to confirm your On Farm Pick Up.

We plan on starting the first round of on farm pick ups for "Magic Mamma" orders on Wednesday July 22nd and will go through Friday July 31st.

Pick Up Time Daily during this time runs from 5:30pm - 7:30pm.

The Second Round of Pick Ups will start on August 28th and run through September 6th (Labor Day Weekend).

Pick Up time Daily during this time runs form 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm.

Final Cost of Beef Cuts that ARE NOT the straight forward ground beef 1 pound packages, like Soup Bones for Example,  will be determined by Weight, so all prices on PreOrders are estimated by approximate poundage of the certain beef cut. Customers final end price will be determined at Pick Up.

We set out to farm custom beefs the way we farm because we know ecosystems: (a community of living organisms and their physical environment that interact with each other.) need to be resilient and to be resilient all parts of the ecosystem need to be able to be pure as possible. We want the best for all parts of ecosystems and farming the way we do is the only way we can foresee farming!!
