This is a special "POP UP" Baldy Beef Cow named "Garden Call" 210H.
She is a huge and beautiful cow that needed to be harvested because she had nonfunctional udders and will make for an excellent BEEF cow.
YOUNG Cows make for delicious and flavorful Roast, perhaps even a pinch better than a 2 1/2 year old, if we do say so ourselves.

This Beef Product Offering will allow customers to PreOrder Foothill Frolic Farm Beef Products singly-by the PACKAGE/POUND and not as a PreOrder Live Animal Custom Beef.
We are using the New Appalachian Producers Cooperative just outside of Jonesborough, because our much loved and always used Family owned Processor/Butcher, Rusell Meat, is only a 100% VDACS certified custom beef facility. Nonetheless, and on another bright note, we have really appreciated and enjoyed working with APC and their crew and the state of the art, new processing equipment and their humane cattle handling practices!! This is the second time we have used them and each and every time they are working to make the butchering experience better.
When we offer our beef in this format, processing services from APC, USDA inspected beefs are higher and our prices are higher, so in turn overall costs of beef cuts by the pound are higher. For demonstration purposes, these price differences effectively show the comparative prices in between Foothill Frolic Farm's beef sold by the pound and our live animal custom beef shares.
These Pre-Orders from "Garden Call" will still have a designated on farm pick up time and you will be sure to receive the needed informative emails and texts to confirm your On Farm Pick Up.
We plan on starting the first round of on farm pick ups for "Garden Call" orders on Sunday July 26th and will go through Sunday August 2nd.
Pick Up Time Daily during this time runs from 6:30pm - 7:30pm.
The Second Round of Pick Ups will start on August 28th and run through September 6th (Labor Day Weekend).

Final Cost of Beef Cuts that ARE NOT the straight forward ground beef 1 pound packages, like Soup Bones for Example, will be determined by Weight, so all prices on PreOrders are estimated by approximate poundage of the certain beef cut. Customers final end price will be determined at Pick Up.
